With the holiday upon us tomorrow, I have not yet had the chance to prepare for the day, as many of my acquaintances have been as of late.
I am reminded of weeks ago when I first heard about Talk Like a Pirate Day on the radio. Ralph was informing everyone of the holiday that was supposedly coming up that Friday. However, he made a mistake and later informed the listeners that the holiday was not for a couple more weeks. As disappointed as I was, I was relieved that I was given a second chance to prepare for the day. Although now, with only a few hours left, I am scrambling to learn some last minute pirate phrases. I guess this is how last minute shoppers feel like. I am feeling the pressure.

Here are some helpful tips to get you through the holiday:

Sometimes, you just gotta regulate, otherwise, people would be pirate talking all the time, and then the holiday would be ruined.

Good point, but preparation occurs on one's own time, in one's own head, unless one is alone in the shower or sitting on the can. Just make sure no one is in the stall next to you when you're practicing. Otherwise you might get mistaken for a pirate.

In other non-piratical news, I saw more celebrities today! Well, b-listers is more like it. But exciting nontheless. Luke Perry of 90210 who was talking on his cell phone, and David Boreanaz of Angel who poked his head out of his trailer. Still no new milo sightings, but i have not given up yet!

Venus and Serena's sister's murder...sad day last night.

But hey, the shows are coming back! No more summer reality tv that involve eating cockroaches and drinking squid liquids. And no more reruns.

Hooray for the new season! Hooray beer!

It's here. There's no escaping from it. The time has come.

It's football season.

Thank god, that means baseball is almost over. Baseball is sooooo boring. To watch that is. Playing is a different story.
But, back to football season. I can never get into football. Never had a favorite team. I think i barely get the gist of the game. But maybe this season it'll be different. I think I just need someone to explain it all to me. Slowly and carefully, with all the details. Hopefully by superbowl, i'll be watching the game rather than just the commercials.

Yes, the kiss with Madonna is overrated. But dang, she is still pretty hot. Although, does she sing anymore? Watching her performance tonight, there was barely any singing going on. But i guess that was never her strong point. Did you guys catch the part where they were changing her and her shorts almost came off? That would've been some good television.

To sum up: football is here, Britney is still hot, Bush drops his dog in front of little league soft ballers, and the world goes on.
