It's gone. My webpage is gone. You click on it, and it doesn't go there. No, it does not go there, it does not go anywhere. It does not go to my page, and its all very strange.

Today at work, my job was to clean the trophy case with my roommate. The trophy case that houses the oscars, emmies, and golden globes. Funny how an enclosed case can gather so much dust and bugs and bug poop. Because we had to take the trophies out of the case and line them up on the floor, all the people passing by had to put their two cents in. If i had a dollar for everytime someone came by and asked, "are those real?" and "can i touch them?" well.....i'd have $20 by now, thats what! (And yes, feel free to turn that last sentence into a dirty joke if you will.)

But the highlight of the day was when Cojo came over to the case and asked if he could touch them too but then decided that he wasn't going to because touching one means you're not going to win one. I guess i've just jinxed myself for the rest of my life! I don't know what it is about cojo that i like so much. Maybe its his fashion foward sensibilities.
Yes, that must be it.
And his hair.

Dear Internet Void:

Why do people do the things they do?

No, start over.

Where do people get their ways of thinking from? Why is it that a conceited person doesn't know they're conceited, yet someone else does and can tell the that person to their face that they're conceited, and the first person will never believe it.

No, not quite.

Dear Internet Void: Why can't we turn back time, and redo the things we've done wrong? Some may say, you learn from your mistakes. Sure. So if you've learned, shouldn't you be able to go back in time and fix whatever you messed up?

Like tonight, i was making these s'mores bars, and silly me, i didn't let the chocolate cool enough before putting in the marshmellows, so then all the marshmellows melted in with the chocolate, which it wasn't suppose to do. Right after this happened, I learned my mistake, that I have to let the chocolate cool first. Yet, i was out of marshmellows, and could not start over. I learned my mistake but who knows how the s'mores bars will turn out now. Definitely not the same. Better than the original? Doubt it. Still good? Maybe...but just not the same. Knowing what i know now, i could've made s'mores bars that are to die for. Right now they're just dead. Sure, next time i'll know better. But what about this batch?

I shrug my shoulders at the world.

But i have to remember that i'm still young, and that i'll have the rest of my life to make incredible s'mores bars. Yes.

Goodnight, dear void.
Dear Jen,

I was just reading about your adventures and thought, how lovely and lucky. It must be fun to go on work adventures far far away, yet have it seem so familiar at the same time. I'm not sure if you're back yet, but please keep blogging about your adventures. I love reading them.

Love, SH

OMG!

So, one of the taste testers the Iron Chef today, was Nagisa Oshima! Crazy eh? You watch all these crazy films of his, and then form all these opinions of him, only to find him tasting 50 ways to cook a potato on TV. Seriously. The ingredient was potato. And because the iron chef tied with the challenger, they had to go into a 30 minute sweet potato overtime challenge. It's funny knowing that this guy, Oshima, who is reponsible for all these disturbing images that are present in my head (such as putting an egg where an egg should NEVER EVER be...) is sitting at a table with 3 other japanese ladies, contemplating on what kind of message a sweet potato brings to a dish. Crazy...

The iron chef won the overtime by the way.

The Life and Times of a Page

This morning, as i was outfitted in my blue blazer on a matching blue cart, I ran into the guy who plays Spike on Buffy and most recently Angel. Stupidly, i asked him if he wanted a ride. I sincerely was not trying to flirt AT ALL, just thought i'd do someone a favor and take them to their destination on the just washed and cleaned blue cart. He kindly declined with a "no thank you" and I drove away, muttering at myself and cursing silently in my head for having done such a stupid thing.

First of all, I only had my roommate in mind. I've been telling Sarah that i keep seeing him on the lot whereas she never has, and so if he had accepted the ride, I would've told him how much of a fan my roommate is. To tell you the truth, i don't watch the show that much, although i have seen a few episdoes, and they are pretty funny and silly. She's a much bigger fan than i am.

Second of all, I forgot that i was in uniform. DUH SH!

Third of all, he probably thought I was just another teenage fan trying to get a piece of his action, when in reality, i want none of his action! I was merely trying to do a nice thing.

SIGH...

But then again, maybe he just felt like walking, who knows right? Silly me....from now on, i'll just stay out of his way.

And then on the walk out of the lot (I was in pretty good spirits mind you, despite the whole spike incident), I notice this guy walking out of a stage, and I turn to him to do my usual "hi" to random passersby. This guy looked me straight in the eye, and smiled and said "hi" back. It took me a couple seconds to realize that it was Niles Crane! Now at this moment in my story let me remind you that I was still wearing my uniform at the time. In uniform, we are usually overlooked or ignored. But he said hi to me! Celebrities should always be this nice. So that semi-cancelled out the stupidity of my morning incident, and all was well in my head once again.

One of these days, these celebrity encounters will not phase me one bit. But until then, i will just keep bloggin about them. :-)

Oy.....3 hours later, and i'm still full. Once again i've stuffed myself on korean food. You know that song "Gotta Dance?" Its from one of those old movies....maybe singing in the rain or white christmas, or something of the kind. I'm thinking of adapting it to "Gottttaa Eaaaat." Ok ok, its funnier if you're inside my head right now and could see this mental image of me as Gene Kelley singing this song. Hehehe.....its funny....you have to be there. Or here, inside my head.

So Halloween was a success. My fairy costume went ok. I say ok because i got compliments on it, but it wasn't exercised to its full potential. First of all, it was freezing, so i had to wear my sweater. Ok, how many fairies do you know wear sweaters? NONE. They're usually all scandalous like. And then i didn't wear the leaf crown in my head cuz i forgot it in the car (but really, i just didn't want to deal with it), and I also didn't bring my wand because well....fairies don't carry wands. And, as cool as my wings were, they kept getting in the way (as i predicted!), i had to walk sideways through all the doors, and at one point i took them off in order to get through a crowd. But, if i ever have a photo shoot one day where i just have to stand there and be a fairy with no one in the way, then my costume would be perfect.

Anyways, enough with halloween blabber.

So november is upon us. It was cold today. I got jipped of my october. It went from really hot to really cold with no warning. Where did the in between go? I want it back dammit.

I saw blue lightning on the way home last night. It was the coolest thing ever. All of a sudden it was as if someone had turned on the blue lights outside. And i thought someone did for a split second, until i thought....theres no light that blue or that large anywhere! And also, there was aaron in the front seat yelling "blue lightning blue lightning!" That kinda tipped me off too. Anyways, it was cool.
